Overview
Our goal at KIDS in STEM is to encourage and cultivate an interest in STEM to children! We realize that there aren't many opportunities for children to engage in STEM online and have a platform to share their STEM activities. Therefore, we will provide online classes for children to learn and engage in different STEM topics and promote the study of STEM. We will also provide a platform for students to share and publish their STEM knowledge, interests, and ideas.
Mission
Kids in STEM is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing accessible, pertinent, enriching education and hands-on activities for students from elementary to high school. By providing online STEM camps, we will not only prepare scholars for upcoming courses, but also promote an interest in all fields of STEM. Kids in STEM will satisfy students’ innate curiosity through unique lessons that include at-home labs, relevant curriculum, and an interactive online environment. We give a platform for children to share their STEM knowledge, interests, ideas, and activities. We also advocate for equal educational opportunities by providing free education for a wide range of subjects.
Why we are unique
KIDS in STEM provides a virtual classroom environment allowing students to collaborate with peers and learn from mentors. We provide interactive learning by engaging students with at-home labs, contemporary teaching methods, and hands-on activities. By providing a forum where students can learn about the entirety of STEM, they are able to share, connect, and build upon their current foundation.
