Introduction to Computer Science
Fun Coding Class!
- Grades: Rising 6th-8th grade
- Dates: Every Tuesday, July 7th - August 4th (5 classes in total)
- Time: 4 PM - 5 PM
- What will your child do in this class? Introduction to Computer Science is a course that will allow students to touch base with their creativity and logical thinking skills to innovate programs that complete a multitude of tasks. This class is centered around Java and object-oriented programming. Students will use multilateral thinking and problem-solving skills to learn the fundamentals of coding and Java. Topics that will be covered include object creation, iteration loops, method creation, inheritance, polymorphism, and more. If your child is interested in the ever-growing field of computer science, make sure to enroll them in Introduction to Computer Science!
